Welcome to the new Tyne and Wear Flying Club's website.

(known as TWFC)

A friendly club with around 50 members all with something in common..... a great passion for (Model RC Planes), it doesn't matter if you fly nitro,petrol or electric planes all are welcome here. Founded in 1990 this club has seen many changes:-

building models from parts in a box - to ARTF kits (Almost Ready To Fly)
Nicd batteries - to the new much more powerful lipo's
27mhz radio gear - to the all singing dancing 2.4GHZ 14 channel telemetrics gear.

To mention but a few.

This hobby has two different types of interest:

1) The building part
2) The flying part

So no matter what your skill level is there is something enjoyable for everyone with more information being added here on a regular basis, please keep comming back for an update

The Tyne & Wear Flying Club is hosting a General Fly-in
at Albemarle on the 17th of June all BMFA members welcome,
gate open at 10:00 am.

Entrance Fee £3.00 enter via crash gate 4
